In the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, a type of Iranian dance emerged, including movements derived from Arabic dance, folklore, and dances of the Qajar period, which were mostly performed in private assemblies and in a one-man and improvised form. />
Later, this type of dance became famous due to the attraction of fans and the development of commercial cinema in Iran, and it became widespread and provided the creation of various genres of Iranian dance, such as Rohowzi, Babakarm,  Tehrani  and
Shateri. />
Another type of Iranian dance became fashionable in this era with more attention and base on dance technology, which was called traditional Iranian
dance. />
A dance that is a combination of Iranian folk dances and Qajar court dances performed with traditional Iranian
music. />
During the 1960s, experts were brought to this country to establish the infrastructure of dance types in Iran, and a group was also sent to the West to receive
training. />
Iran's National Ballet Organization was officially opened in 1967 in Roudaki Hall, which in recent years has become one of the most prestigious and globally recognized artistic organizations in the
country.The first Iranian ballet academy was established in 1320.  Foreign artists used to come to this country to produce exclusive content for Iran. />
Professional dance in Iran regained its respect and popularity during the reign of Mohammad Reza
Shah. />
In 1967, a state-supported dance foundation was established under the name of National Iranian Folklore Organization. The purpose of this organization was to perform Persian poetry and epic stories and to stage Iranian folk dance in a fundamental way. Apart from non-native dances, traditional dance  was also
revived. />
During this period, various international festivals were held in different cities of Iran, which introduced dance to a wider group of
people. />
Before the revolution of 1357, the National Folk Dance Organization of Iran was known as the best folk group in the Middle
East. />
Also, during this period, dance became increasingly popular as an art form and spread among different classes of Iranian society by breaking the previous
monopolies.
