Inside the bleak walls of a juvenile detention facility in Iran, a teenage boy approaches a grim milestone. Convicted of murder as a minor, he's been awaiting a sentence that couldn’t be enforced—until now. As his fellow inmates throw him a quiet birthday celebration, the system prepares for execution. The Birthday is a haunting reflection on lost innocence, delayed justice, and the tragic cost of growing up behind bars.
