While searching for ancient artifacts in a historic city (Neyshabur) carrying remnants of the Mongol invasion, Firoozeh touches a long-lost talisman and becomes mentally trapped in the past. With her speech turning archaic and her behavior growing manic, her friend Minoo tries to pull her back to reality—a desperate attempt that fundamentally transforms them both.
